For mobile grooming salons and groomers who work at the customer's door. Trim Slimmer looks up the driving distance from your starting point to the customer's address and puts the travel cost on the invoice at your own per-kilometre rate. No map on the side, no kilometres you forget to charge.
- Distance worked out for you, based on the real route by road. The appointment address is already there.
- You pick the starting point: the salon, your previous appointment, or an address you type in. Handy on a day full of addresses.
- One way or round trip is a single switch. Estimate off for once? Type your own number of kilometres and that wins.
- Your rate, cleanly on the invoice: a separate line with kilometres times rate, VAT included. You set the rate once.
- And your booking page respects how far you drive: set how many kilometres or minutes you are willing to travel, and days you cannot reach stop being offered. Including days where the visits already booked sit too far from that address.
Day care
Day care too, in your own words
At a day care a dog is dropped off, is present, and is picked up again. There is no moment where it is "finished". Set your salon type to Day care and the workflow board speaks that way - and the step that does not exist for you disappears.
- Three columns instead of four: scheduled, present, picked up. Two taps take a dog from booked to collected.
- No "your dog is ready" message. A grooming salon calls the owner when the dog is done; yours is already coming at an agreed time. Confirmations and reminders carry on as normal.
- Nothing else changes. The same calendar, client cards with vaccinations, online booking page, invoices and reports. A collected dog counts as a completed appointment.
- And honestly, what it is not: Trim Slimmer does not plan overnight stays, kennels or occupancy per place. A day in day care is booked as an appointment with a start and an end, and billed off the services on it - or taken off a prepaid card or a subscription. If you need boarding software, Trim Slimmer is not it.

Good to know
Do my customers need an account to book online?
No. Customers confirm their email address with a one-time code - no passwords, no account. Returning customers are recognised automatically, including their pets.
Can I switch from my current software?
Yes. Trim Slimmer has importers for the common salon packages: upload your export file and your clients, pets and (where possible) appointment history come along.
Does Trim Slimmer work for mobile groomers?
Yes, it is built for it. On every invoice Trim Slimmer works out the kilometres to the customer's address and adds the travel cost at your own rate. The app runs in the browser on phone, tablet and computer, so it works from the van too.
Does Trim Slimmer work for a dog day care?
Yes. Set your salon type to Day care and the board runs three columns in your own words - scheduled, present, picked up - instead of a grooming salon's four, and no "your dog is ready" message goes out any more. The rest of Trim Slimmer is unchanged. Note that Trim Slimmer does not plan overnight stays, kennels or occupancy per place: a day in day care is booked as an appointment with a start and an end, and billed off the services on it. If you would rather settle up once a month than once a day, sell a subscription: a fixed amount a month with as many days in it as you agree, and every day comes off it by itself.
How does Trim Slimmer calculate the kilometres for travel costs?
Trim Slimmer looks up the driving distance between your starting point - your salon, your previous appointment, or an address you type in - and the appointment address. You choose one way or round trip, and the kilometres land on the invoice as a separate line at your per-kilometre rate. Type your own number of kilometres and it takes precedence over the estimate.
Does the calendar block double bookings?
That's up to you. In the free planning style Trim Slimmer makes overlap visible but you decide - handy when one dog is drying while you groom the next. In the strict style, double bookings are refused automatically based on work schedules.
Can I work with multiple groomers or multiple salons?
Yes. You invite team members by email; staff see the calendar and clients, but not settings, prices or reports. One account can manage multiple salons and switch between them at no extra cost: you pay €19.99 a month excl. VAT however many salons you run. Data stays strictly separated.
Are there hidden costs or pricier tiers behind it?
No. Trim Slimmer costs €19.99 per month excl. VAT (€24.19 incl. VAT) per account and that includes every feature and all your salons. Everywhere else you pay per location; here you do not. Email is unlimited; only for SMS messages do you buy prepaid SMS credits. Cancel monthly.
What do SMS credits cost?
Email is unlimited and included. Text messages run on credits you buy up front, per salon: 100 credits for €10, 500 for €45 or 1000 for €80, all excl. VAT. One credit is one text of up to 160 characters, and credits never expire. If your balance runs out only texting pauses - your emails keep going - and Trim Slimmer warns you in the app long before that happens. Topping up automatically is possible and switched off by default.
Is Trim Slimmer available in English?
Yes, the full app is available in Dutch and English. Messages to customers are sent in the customer's language, on behalf of your salon.
